Education Resouce Packs and Materials

The Our Green Space project has employed an experienced education consultant to work with project officers and communities to develop a series of relevant educational resources to raise awareness of green spaces & link to the national curriculum.

Work has begun with communities and schools to develop each communities individual education outputs. The task of gathering information, materials, ideas and guidance sheets that will form the basis of an education resource pack on 'green space' has also begun and this will offer an accessible resource on how to engage children and young people in the exploration of green space, the creative use of green space as an education tool, the celebration of local green space and its physical and cultural/historical conservation.

As the Our Green Space Education Recourse Pack develops we will post pages of it here on the website, they will be downloadable both as individual topical worksheets and as a whole, useful both to teachers and communities alike. Watch this space!
